The Rescue • Discover the Unseen

The American Institute of Polish Culture would like for you to join Gen Art, Invisible Children, PressItOn USA and Gran Sierpe Pisco for "Peace Day."

Monday, September 21, 2009, marks the International Day of Peace. Join us from 7-10 pm at PressItOn Gallery located at 4100 N. Miami Ave., Miami, FL 33127. Six years ago, three aspiring American filmmakers journeyed to Northern Uganda in the hopes of creating a compelling documentary about elusive rebel leader Joseph Kony and his twenty year-long reign of terror commanding the Lord's resistance army (LRA). "The Rescue" is one of several films capturing the misery and brutality endured by the thousands of child soldiers he has conscripted.
